Digiworld completed an acquisition in FMCG and surpassed yearly profit plan after 9 months

Ho Chi Minh City, October 23rd, 2017, Digiworld Corporation (“DGW”) released the 3rd quarter business results report, and completed the acquisition of C.L Company Limited.

According to the 3rd quarter business results report, Digiworld announced its consolidated profit after tax of VND27.1 billion, net revenues of VND1,144 billion; up 14.2% and 10% quarter on quarter respectively. In the cumulative 9 months, Digiworld’s revenue reached VND2,696 billion and profit after tax reached VND56.1 billion; fulfilling yearly plan (VND55 billion).

The 3rd Quarter earning achieved robust growth thanks to the exploitation of the market expansion services (MES), bringing in more added value to the new product lines.

Remarkably, in the 3rd quarter, Digiworld acquired 50.3% of CL Company Limited via its subsidiary Digiworld Venture. Founded in 1998, CL specializes in distributing high-end FMCG products from Japan such as Kodomo Toothpaste, Zact Lion whitening toothpaste, Systema toothbrush, Essense detergent liquid, Bio Zip detergent powder, Bubbi King dishwashing liquid, etc. CL’s distribution network covers 63 provinces, including traditional channels and major supermarket store chains.
