On November 24, 2024, in Hanoi, and December 1, 2024, in Ho Chi Minh City, the 5th season of Buoc Chan Uom Mam Xanh (The Green Seed Incubation Run) was a resounding success, attracting nearly 5,000 participants.

This annual event is organized by Digiworld Corporation, marking its 5th year in 2024. Buoc Chan Uom Mam Xanh is not merely a running event but also carries the noble mission of "nurturing green knowledge." Following the 4th season’s theme, “Run for Dream Come True,” this year’s event embraced the message “Run for Life Changing.” It continues the inspiring stories of underprivileged youth, turning their dreams of continuing education and studying technology into reality. With the knowledge they gain, these individuals can transform their own lives, uplift their families, and truly “change their destinies.”

Every step contributes to nurturing green knowledge

This year’s event introduced new formats with two race distances—5km and 10km—open to both men and women, for public participants and internal employees. The prize structure was uniquely divided between the internal and public categories, as well as by gender and race distance, featuring an impressive total of 39 major prizes and over 25 lucky draw prizes for participants.

With each season, Buoc Chan Uom Mam Xanh grows in scale, drawing more runners thanks to the tangible impact it delivers. The event provides living proof of how lives have been transformed through the efforts of the runners. To date, the program has awarded 31 scholarships, supporting many students in overcoming challenges to continue their educational journeys. Among them, 3 students have graduated and are now employed (2 in Japan and 1 in Vietnam). The beneficiaries also include 5 ethnic minority students, 13 underprivileged students unable to continue their studies, and 10 students from families severely affected by the Yagi typhoon.

At this year's running event in Ho Chi Minh City and Hanoi, young individuals who had received the Digiworld Uom Mam Xanh Scholarship also participated and shared their stories. In Ho Chi Minh City, Lam Thai Hoang—a young man from Kon Tum—shared his journey. Despite facing significant challenges, including losing his mother at a young age and currently living with his grandfather, who is over 80 years old, Hoang has received little to no financial support. He was awarded a scholarship through the collaboration between Digiworld and the French nonprofit organization Passerelles Numériques Vietnam (PNV). Hoang has since graduated and is now working at a technology company in Ho Chi Minh City.

Additionally, three scholarship recipients from Hanoi—Tran Xuan Thanh, Phan Manh Duc, and Nguyen Van Tri—also participated. They received scholarships for training courses provided by Digiworld’s partner, VTI Academy. These scholarships have helped them overcome hardships, continue their education, and develop their skills, serving as a testament to the positive impact of the program on the community.

The 2024 Buoc Chan Uom Mam Xanh running event concluded successfully, leaving unforgettable memories and spreading positivity within the community.
