Digiworld Corporation (DGW) has officially announced its consolidated business results for the first quarter of 2025, reporting a net revenue of VND 5,519 billion, an increase of 11% compared to the same period in 2024. Net profit after tax reached VND 106 billion, marking a 15% year-over-year growth.
Digiworld’s Q1/2025 performance continues to reflect the company’s diversified and efficient business operations, with positive contributions from multiple product segments:
Laptop and Tablet:
Revenue from this segment reached VND 1,391 billion, a strong growth of 22% compared to the same period last year. This performance was driven by a broad product portfolio featuring well-established and popular brands such as Acer, Dell, Lenovo, and Asus, along with two new introduced brands —MSI and Gigabyte. Digiworld effectively captured market demand for high-performance laptops with attractive designs.
Mobile Phone:
Amid economic downturn and rising inflation, consumers have become more cautious with spending, particularly on high-end technology products. This trend impacted revenue from the mobile phone segment, which recorded VND 2,235 billion—a slight decline of 8% year-over-year. Flagship products such as the iPhone and Xiaomi’s premium lines were particularly affected.
Office Equipment:
In contrast, the office equipment segment experienced strong growth, generating VND 1,273 billion in revenue—up 26% compared to Q1/2024. The primary growth drivers were PC Client products, which surged by 70%, and IoT devices such as monitors, servers, printers, smartwatches, and headphones, which collectively grew by 47%. Digiworld has effectively met the increasing demand from businesses and individual users seeking to upgrade their work and entertainment setups.
Home Appliances:
Home appliances remained a standout category for Digiworld, with revenue increasing by a remarkable 90% year-over-year to reach VND 401 billion. 1st
quarter is traditionally a peak season for home appliance purchases in preparation for the Lunar New Year. Additionally, partnerships with reputable brands such as Philips contributed significantly to the segment’s impressive growth.
Consumer Goods:
Consumer goods also made a positive contribution to Digiworld’s overall performance, with revenue reaching VND 220 billion—a 20% increase compared to the same period last year. This growth was driven by both existing FMCG and pharmaceutical brands, as well as the newly appointed on-trade distribution channel by ABInBev, which commenced in Q3/2024.
