DIGIWORLD CELEBRATES 10 YEARS OF LISTING - A SOARING DECADE, READY TO BREAKTHROUGH FOR A PROSPEROUS VIETNAM

Ho Chi Minh City, August 6, 2025 - Digiworld Corporation (HOSE: DGW) held the event “The Soaring Decade - 10 Years Listed, Future Ahead” marking the 10th anniversary of being listed on the Ho Chi Minh Stock Exchange. The celebration was not only an opportunity to reflect on a decade of sustainable growth but also a powerful statement of the ambition to accelerate, reaffirming the role of Digiworld in building markets and accompanying Vietnam toward prosperity.

At the event, Mr. Doan Hong Viet, Chairman of Digiworld, stated:

“We began this journey as a distributor, but from the very beginning, the ambition of Digiworld went beyond simply bringing products to the market - it was to build the market itself, turning what no one had yet seen into sustainable value.”

A Decade of Market Building: From Distributor to Pioneer

Listed in 2015, Digiworld at the time was an agile enterprise in the ICT sector, pioneering in providing market expansion solutions for international brands. Ten years later, Digiworld has expanded into multiple new categories, developing a fully integrated operating model - from market research, sales development, and logistics to after-sales service. The “Market Builder” mindset has been clearly defined, enabling the company to stay ahead of trends and create business opportunities from unaddressed market needs.

From 2015 to date, Digiworld has achieved remarkable growth: revenue increased sixfold, net profit grew fivefold, and market capitalization rose sevenfold. Return on equity has remained competitive at 21%, return on assets at 7%, and return on invested capital at 12%. For ten consecutive years, the company has consistently paid cash dividends, totaling approximately VND 700 billion - equivalent to 27% of after-tax profit.

The ambition to build markets is evident in the journey of partnering with global brands in Vietnam. Ms. Le Thanh Hang - Country Manager at Philips Vietnam - shared at the event:

“Although Digiworld has been in the home appliance sector for just over five years, the growth rate is truly impressive. From being a new partner of Philips, Digiworld quickly implemented the entire import process within just two weekend days, while the standard process usually takes one to two weeks. This demonstrates remarkable agility, determination, and a highly disciplined operating system.”

Digiworld is also remembered as the “silent hero” in Xiaomi’s growth in Vietnam. Mr. Patrick Zhou, Country Manager of Xiaomi Vietnam, shared:

“Seven years ago, we started from zero. Thanks to the support of Digiworld, our first strategic partner in Vietnam, Xiaomi gradually built a distribution system, expanded the retail network, and developed strong relationships with local partners. Today, we hold a 19.5% smartphone market share and maintain the No. 2 position in Vietnam. This is a remarkable growth journey in which Digiworld has remained an indispensable part.”

Truly Vietnam - Truly Market Builder

Digiworld takes pride in being a Vietnamese enterprise with a deep understanding of the Vietnamese market. With the positioning “Truly Vietnam - Truly Market Builder,” announced at the beginning of 2025, Digiworld is committed to acting for Vietnamese people, grounded in market insights, operational discipline, and a pioneering spirit of innovation.

From the early days, the philosophy of “doing right from the root” has served as the guiding principle for market building. Digiworld was among the first private enterprises in Vietnam to proactively engage Big Four auditors and boldly implement the SAP ERP system - considered a “premium choice” at the time. Sharing at the event, Ms. Dang Kien Phuong, CEO of Digiworld, noted:

“We do not view digitalization or operational discipline as ‘supporting tools’ but as the core of sustainable growth. When every decision is grounded in data and transparent processes, we can scale quickly without compromising quality.”

The market-building mindset is inseparable from a people development strategy, a critical factor for sustaining long-term growth in an increasingly volatile market, Ms. To Hong Trang, Deputy CEO of Digiworld, emphasized:

“We clearly understand that sustainable growth comes not only from products or technology, but from the execution team itself. Every employee is a ‘market builder’ in their work - proactive, adaptable, and eager to create value for the community alongside the company.”

With the foundation built over the past decade in both operations and organization, Digiworld believes the “Truly Vietnam, Truly Market Builder” strategy will continue to be a launchpad for greater achievements, accompanying Vietnam’s prosperity.

Strategic Direction for the Next Decade

Entering a new decade, Digiworld defines its role not just as a distributor, but as a creator of a market ecosystem – continuously innovating to accompany customers, partners, and society.

  • Organization & People: Continue investing in talent development under the philosophy “each person is a Market Builder.” A culture of innovation, proactivity, and “living big lives” will remain the foundation.

  • Operations: Pursue a data-driven, transparent, and globally standardized platform. Investments in technology and digital transformation will enhance efficiency and adaptability.

  • Business Direction: Expand the Market Builder role beyond ICT into FMCG, healthcare, lifestyle, and other sectors - aiming to build a more comprehensive ecosystem.

Future plans of Digiworld are also clearly shaped by numbers: welcoming over three new global partners per year, entering more than two new categories annually, and unlocking growth through more than five M&A deals. In sustainability, Digiworld targets planting one million trees and reducing carbon emissions by 50% by 2033. The annual “Green Steps Nurture Knowledge” run will continue, engaging 50,000 runners to collectively reach one million kilometers, raising scholarships for 200 underprivileged youths – nurturing green minds and bright futures.

The 2015 listing on HOSE was not only a milestone marking financial maturity but also a commitment to transparency, discipline, and long-term strategy. Ten years later, Digiworld has proven that when a Vietnamese enterprise possesses vision, capability, and the ability to seize opportunities, it can go far - not only standing strong domestically but also partnering with global brands to build markets from ideas no one dared to pursue.
