DIGIWORLD GROWTH ACROSS ALL SECTORS IN THE FOURTH QUARTER OF 2024, WITH A 56% INCREASE IN PROFIT, AND FULL-YEAR REVENUE REACHING VND 22,078 BILLION

Digiworld Corporation (DGW) has announced its fourth quarter of 2024 financial results, demonstrating strong performance across its core business segments. Net revenue reached VND 5,859 billion, a 21% increase YoY, while profit after tax rose by 56% to VND 140 billion.

For the entire year of 2024, Digiworld achieved VND 22,078 billion in revenue, a 17% increase, and VND 443 billion in net profit, a 25% increase compared to 2023. These figures underscore Digiworld's strong business capabilities and its leading position in the technology and consumer product distribution sector.

The company recorded notable growth in its core business sector during the fourth quarter of 2024, with key highlights as follows:

  • Laptop and Tablet Segment: Revenue in the fourth quarter of 2024 reached VND 1,144 billion, marking a slight 7% growth YoY. Following peak sales in the third quarter, market demand stabilized in the fourth quarter. However, Digiworld's efforts to expand its product portfolio by incorporating new brands such as MSI and Gigabyte helped sustain growth. Additionally, the increasing trend of remote work and demand for upgraded educational devices played an important role in maintaining steady sales.
  • Mobile Phone Segment: This sector achieved revenue of VND 2,687 billion in the fourth quarter of 2024, a 22% increase compared to the fourth quarter of 2023. Key growth drivers included Xiaomi and Apple products, such as the Xiaomi 14T, Mi Note 14, Redmi 14C, and iPhone 16. The launch of new premium models, combined with promotions from manufacturers and distributors, stimulated the market. The festive year-end shopping season and rising demand for devices equipped with new technologies such as AI and 5G further boosted sales.
  • Office Equipment Segment: Revenue in this category grew 22% YoY, reaching VND 1,367 billion. This growth was primarily driven by revenue contributions from PC Client products and IoT devices, including desktops, monitors, servers, printers, smartwatches, and headphones. Digiworld focused on partnering with major brands to deliver optimized technology solutions for corporate customers.
  • Home Appliance Segment: Revenue saw an impressive 56% YoY growth, amounting to VND 364 billion. This surge was due to the fourth quarter being the peak season for home appliance consumption, with consumers increasing purchases for the Lunar New Year (Tet) holiday, as well as contributions from Philips products. The trend of enhancing quality of life, along with the growing demand for devices that optimize housework, created significant momentum for this sector.
  • Consumer Goods Segment: Achieved revenue of VND 297 billion, a robust increase of 38% YoY. This growth was driven by revenue from existing brands in both the consumer goods and pharmaceutical segments, along with significant revenue contributions from the on-trade channel, a new distribution channel that ABInbev entrusted to Digiworld starting in the third quarter of 2024.
